Brent Scowcroft Papers

The Brent Scowcroft Papers contain materials donated to the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library by General Brent Scowcroft. These materials consist of memoranda, head-of-state correspondence, White House press releases, and correspondence to and from Secretaries James A. Baker, III, Richard Cheney, and President George H. W. Bush. These files were used primarily by General Scowcroft for the purpose of co-writing the book "A World Transformed". The majority of these files were selected by General Scowcroft from the National Security Council office files created during the George H. W. Bush Presidential administration from January 1989 to January 1993. Read less
