This video cassette contains footage of the signing ceremony in the East Room during President Bush's summit with Soviet President Gorbachev. Coverage continues from tape MT799. President Gorbachev makes remarks. Both Presidents sit at the table and sign documents. After signing, they shake hands. The documents are then signed by U.S. Secretary of State James Baker and Soviet Foreign Minister Shevardnadze. Secretary Skinner and Foreign Minister Shevardnadze sign another agreement. At the conclusion of the signing ceremony, the Presidents greet the audience and depart the East Room.
