This series contains correspondence between individuals, organizations, Lee Liberman and other Counsel Office staff members relating to the development of the Bush Administration's civil rights policy, particularly the administration's objections to the proposed Civil Rights Act of 1990. This series also contains newspapers, journal articles, magazine articles, memoranda, talking points, correspondence, legal briefs, transcripts, news summaries, draft legislation, statements of administration policy (SAP's), case histories, and legislative histories covering a broad range of civil rights issues.
