This collection consists of 58 series of subject files based on 58 broad subject classifications developed by the Office of Records Management during the Kennedy Administration to facilitate the filing and retrieval of White House records. These records pertain to the functions and operations of the White House, Federal Government, foreign and other governments. These records also contain correspondence from private companies or individuals.

This series contains government forms, letters, a paper, a list, a press release, and a publication related to Palestine. The letters from private citizens cover multiple topics including the US government's strategic link with Israel, full member status in the World Health Organization for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), Palestinian school closures by Israeli authorities, dialogue between the US and the PLO, Yitshak Shamir's visit to the White House, US policy regarding a united Jerusalem, treatment of Palestinians by Israeli authorities, and Israeli-Palestinian peace. The paper contains testimony that the Coalition for Palestinian Rights members presented before the Subcommittee on Foreign Operations of the Committee on Appropriations.
