Also included in this collection are historical materials related to the Bush family from the years prior to 1981. There are also photographs that document the daily activities of Vice President Dan Quayle (1989-1993).

This series includes photographs of official events such as foreign and domestic presidential trips, state visits by foreign leaders, state dinners, press conferences, speeches, bill signings, swearing-in ceremonies, photo opportunities, and other routine presidential activities. Significant events include the signing of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), speeches and events related to the Persian Gulf War, and the 1992 presidential campaign.
