Also included in this collection are historical materials related to the Bush family from the years prior to 1981. There are also photographs that document the daily activities of Vice President Dan Quayle (1989-1993).

Significant time periods covered include his time as United States Congressman, United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), Chief of the United States Liaison in China, and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
