Wetlands are an important feature of Americas geographic make-up. They come in many different forms. For example, coastal marshes, act as cradles of the sea and buffer inland areas from hurricanes. Wetlands support a wide variety of life and ecosystems.
Come join us as we explore the North American Wetlands Conservation Act with a lesson, a salt-water density activity, and a guided craft on making colorful coffee filter flowers. This video is S.T.E.A.M. based and student-centric.
This is the second of our Environmental Awareness Series. Upcoming topics include: Wildlife Refuges and the Antarctic Protection Act.
