George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum
College Station, TX

Join us at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum on Saturday, November 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., as we honor those who have served our country and celebrate the many blessings we hold dear during the Thanksgiving season.

Children will have the opportunity to create their own Thanksgiving magnets and colorful paper turkeys, adding their personal touch to the festivities. Everyone is invited to write a thank-you note to our brave veterans serving overseas, expressing gratitude for the sacrifices made by these courageous men and women.

Our special guests will enjoy a book reading by our Education Director and Navy Veteran, Fred White. The featured titles include:

Hero Mom by Melinda Hardin — reading at 10:00 a.m.

Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano — reading at 10:15 a.m.

I Am Thankful: A Story About Gratitude and Family by Sheri Wall — reading at 11:30 a.m.

Night Catch by Brenda Ehrmantraut — reading at 11:45 a.m.

Registered children will receive a complimentary copy of one of the books.

We look forward to giving thanks as we celebrate our local heroes!
