In order to compete in the costume contest, participants must walk across the stage in the rotunda between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. The costume contest is divided into the following categories: ages 3 & under, ages 4-6, ages 7-9, ages 10-12, Best Family or Group and Most Original. There will be prizes in all categories, the top five winners of the childrens category and the top three winners of the best family/group and most original. Costumes will be judged in the Rotunda from 3-5 p.m., and the contest winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m. on the plaza. You must be present to win.
