George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum
College Station, TX

We are excited to invite you to join us at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum to welcome Ukraine’s Cultural Forces! This event will take place in the Bush Library & Museum's Malek Theater on Tuesday, October 29, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Learn more about Ukraine’s deep rooted history and culture through a compelling musical performance.
Seven Ukrainian warfighters, world-class professional musicians before the war, arrived in the United States to thank the American people for support and raise awareness about the Ukrainian fight for freedom and democracy. Several musicians were grievously wounded in combat but after recovery returned to active duty.
Two bandura players, an opera singer, a violinist, a pianist, a country singer, and a poet will present renditions of a wide variety of music, from Ukrainian and world classics to covers of popular hits and country tunes. Performances will feature the traditional Ukrainian folk string instrument, the bandura.

We are thrilled to invite you to experience this musical event as it combines powerful narration and storytelling with unique opportunities for question and answers. Please share as we invite and welcome the community to join us on Tuesday!
