Gifts of the People

Old Glory, on display in the Gifts of the People Gallery beginning August 21, 2026, is a celebration of our nation’s most iconic symbol: the American flag. This limited-time display in honor of America’s 250th anniversary features a selection of artifacts from the Bush Library & Museum’s collection that show the depth and breadth of our flag’s influence on American culture. Featuring works of art, clothing, household items, and more, Old Glory provides a glimpse into the importance of our flag as a national and global representation of who we are as Americans. Old Glory will be open until July 5, 2027.
