FOIA 2025-0744-F contains materials from the President’s Task Group on Regulation of Financial Services, a subgroup of the President’s Task Force on Regulatory Relief. The group was charged with reviewing the existing regulatory framework on financial institutions and recommend changes with the intent of decreasing the regulatory and reporting burdens placed upon the institutions. The Staff and Office Files contain correspondence and memoranda from U.S. banks, credit unions, savings & loans, etc. describing the regulatory and reporting burdens placed upon them by federal regulators.
