FOIA 2011-2572-F contains correspondence, memoranda, and publications maintained by individual White House staff members and offices concerning the career of David Mulford, the Under Secretary for the Department of the Treasury. The files of the Counsels Office contain documents involving his appointment as well as his move from Paris, France to the United States when he assumed his duties. The Council of Economic Advisors files contain background materials on economic reform in the Soviet Union, such as reports and draft papers, gathered in preparation for meetings on options for aid to the USSR. Mulford was a participant in these meetings. There is also a copy of a newspaper article from the Washington Post. In addition, there are schedule proposals for meetings between Vice President Quayle and Treasury officials at which Mulford was present. Read less
