The materials in FOIA 2013-1784-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. The Bush Presidential Records Files include correspondence, memoranda, printed material, and press releases maintained by individual staff members and offices. Correspondence consists of standard transmittal letters between White House and legal counsel for the review and approval of proposed Executive Orders, as well as letters from Congressional members expressing comments and concern 2013-1784-F 2 regarding proposed Executive Orders. The memoranda contain standard transmittal memos between the White House and various government agencies regarding routine review and comment on Executive Order drafts. Also included are memos between White House staff members regarding comments on the various draft versions of the proposed Executive Orders. Press releases consist of the Executive Orders passed by President Bush in 1991 and 1992. Printed material includes newspaper and magazine articles concerning topics related to the Executive Orders, particularly the issue of logging Congressional contacts. Read less
