Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. FOIA 1999-0134-F contains materials related to the hijacking of TWA Flight 847 in June 1985. The file from the Bush Administration's Counsels Office is a photocopy of a document pulled from the Vice President's National Security Affairs files in response to a request from the Independent Counsel's 1999-0134-F 1 investigation into the Iran/Contra matter. The original document can be found in the Vice President's files for this request. The Vice President's WHORM Subject File documents deal with public reaction to the hijacking. The Vice President's National Security Affairs files, comprised of reports, diplomatic correspondence, and decision memoranda, cover the Reagan Administration's efforts to resolve the hostage crisis.
