The materials in FOIA 2005-1030-F are a systematic and all inclusive body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. FOIA 2005-2010-F contains materials from individuals and agencies, including the Department of State which is responsible for the U.S. government's interaction with foreign Heads of State. The NSC PA Limited Access Chron Files contain correspondence, memoranda, and publications maintained by individual staff members and offices within the National Security Council Office. The name 2005-1030-F 2 "Limited Access" indicated that these files were restricted to the top advisors and secretaries within the George H.W. Bush Administration. The correspondence found in these files is often between foreign Heads of State and President Bush. Memoranda contain staff communications to and from Brent Scowcroft, Dick Cheney, and James A. Baker, III regarding national security interests, such as nuclear policy, Heads of State correspondence, and etc. Therefore, a majority of these files remain closed under the Freedom of Information Act exemption (b)(1) National security classified information.
