FOIA 2012-0637-F contains materials related to U.S. policy towards South Africa, specifically those economic/trade and diplomatic policies aimed at encouraging the end of Apartheid and the pursuit of 2012-0637-F 2 other governmental reforms in that country, allowing for greater popular participation and representation in South African government and society. The White House Office of Records Management (WHORM) Alphabetical Files contain correspondence from citizens and private interest groups urging support for or discouraging U.S. involvement South African affairs, such as ending Apartheid.
