Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. FOIA 2018-0818-F contains materials from agencies and individuals concerning the installation of the Make Way for Ducklings Statue in Moscow. It was done as part of the 1991 Soviet Union-United States summit held in Moscow and is identical to the one in Boston, Massachusetts. It is based on the book of the same name by Robert McCloskey. The statue was sculpted by Nancy Schön. The WHORM Subject File categories primarily contain letters from Mrs. Bush to individuals that donated to or otherwise participated in the installation of the sculpture in Moscow. The Staff and Office Files contain logistical and background material for the project mostly from Mrs. Bush's chief of staff, Susan Porter Rose. Documents include articles, letters, memos, notes, and schedules. Read less
