Records of the White House Office of Records Management (George H.W. Bush Administration)

This series contains reports to Congress sent under Presidential authority and accompanying transmittal letters, as well as drafts, final texts, and cards of speeches and reports delivered by President Bush or prepared by White House staff for publication. Many of the speech drafts are annotated by President Bush and other senior White House staff members. The series also includes speech-related correspondence, memoranda, notes, fact sheets, and press releases. This series does not contain notes or talking points for debates or news conferences, but it does contain formal statements delivered by the President to the media at the beginning of news conferences.
