The Name Files contain correspondence from the leadership of various Jewish interest groups such as the World Jewish Congress, the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, and others discussing issues of interest to Jewish Americans. The WHORM Subject File categories contain similar materials as those found in the Name Files including invitations for Vice President Bush to speak to and/ or attend various meetings and conferences. The Staff and Office Files contain memoranda and lists related to a reception to held at the Vice President’s residence for the presidents of major Jewish organizations in conjunction with the recognition of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the nation of Israel.
