The travel records pertain to the vice presidential staff members that officially accompanied Vice President George Bush to this event. The notes and correspondence are of a routing nature and primarily consist of the communication involved within the preliminary attempt by Grumman to have Vice President Bush attend and participate in the ceremony. The newspaper clippings and fact sheets accompanied the letters in order to provide background information on the aircraft being celebrated in an effort to display the importance of Vice President Bush participating in the ceremony.
