Records on National Space Policy Reagan and Bush Administrations

The materials in FOIA 1999-0093-F are a selective, not necessarily all-inclusive, body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. FOIA 1999-0093-F contains material related to the national space policy during the Reagan and Bush 2 1999-0093-F Administrations. This includes records on the space shuttle, the Space Station, international space cooperation, and the President's Space Exploration Initiative (which called for a moon / Mars mission). A large segment of this request consists of the Quayle Vice Presidential Records of the National Space Council, of which Vice President Quayle was the head and Mark Albrecht the Executive Secretary (succeeded by Brian Dailey in 1992).
