The WHORM Subject File categories contain notes of appreciation from President Bush to White House staff for their assistance in caring for the President’s dogs Ranger and Millie and to private citizens for gifts given to Ranger. Also included are photographs of President Bush with Ranger along with letters and handwritten notes to children who had written in support of the President. The Staff and Office Files contain handwritten memos arranging for physical examinations for Millie and Ranger just prior to leaving the White House at the end of President Bush’s term in office.
