FOIA 2019-1046-F contains materials primarily from U.S. government agencies pertaining to the United Nations, including its inner workings and various missions and efforts throughout the world. The White House Office of Records Management (WHORM) Alphabetical Files contains U.S. constituent and interest group correspondence advocating for or voicing opposition to several issues being overseen or conducted by the United Nations, such as efforts and programs designed to address world hunger, peace, environmental protection, etc. The WHORM Subject File categories contain material similar to that mentioned above. The Staff and Office Files contain material correspondence from constituents, interest groups, and non- government organizations advocating for or against various U.S./ U.N. policies as well as memoranda, background forms, financial disclosures, questionnaires, etc. related to candidates nominated to U.S. ambassadorial posts with the U.N.
