Taylor, Chairman of the Voice of America (VOA) Advisory Committee and a part of USIA in the 1980s. The United States Information Agency (USIA) is responsible for the US government's overseas information and cultural programs; and the Voice of America (VOA) is a program under the jurisdiction of the USIA. 2011-1177-F 2 The White House Office of Records Management (WHORM) Alphabetical Files contain letters of correspondence, notes, publications, biographical sketches, non-sensitive tracking sheets, publications, and photographs regarding Sherril W. Taylor. All material is essentially in reference to discuss or promote Mr. Taylor as a candidate for a number of positions with the Bush Administration, and primarily for Voice of America. They relate to his successes in his field and are used to compliment his career highlights. Sherril Taylor was named to the Washington Advisory Group and selected for Voice of America Committee Post.
