FOIA 2005-0575-F (including FOIA 2005-0576-F and FOIA 2005-0577-F) contains materials regarding the continued strained relationship between the United States and Libya following the downing of Pan Am 103. The Bush VP records include correspondence supporting or condemning the air strikes in 1986 2005-0575-F 2 while the Bush Presidential materials involve discussions on strategies that ultimately led to economic sanctions, UNSC involvement, and diplomatic efforts within the region and Europe in an effort to curb terrorism.
