The materials in FOIA 2011-2575-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. The Bush Presidential Staff and Office Files include memoranda, correspondence, printed material, talking points, lists, and reports maintained by individual staff members and offices. Memoranda consists of routine memos between White House staff members to the President and other staff members regarding such topics as regulatory reform, pending legislation, proposed meetings, and weekly activity reports of 2011-2575-F 2 the Domestic Policy Council (DPC) and the Economic Policy Council (EPC). Correspondence consists of letters from business leaders and members of Congress regarding current domestic issues such as tax reform, education, national energy strategy, and climate change. Printed material includes news articles on current events concerning domestic policy and economic issues. Also included are editorials on the importance of deregulation both domestically and internationally, as well as transcripts of Sununu television interviews. Talking points relate to Cabinet breakfast meetings. Lists consist of current and proposed EPC and DPC issues and working groups. Press release regards the Educational Excellence Act of 1989. Reports include national transportation policy and the status of current education reform. The Bush Vice Presidential Staff and Office Files include memoranda and lists. The correspondence consists of a transmittal letter to Congress regarding Section 340 Fair Housing Lending Study. The memoranda consist of multiple copies of routine memos between White House staff members to the Vice President. These are standard briefing memos for the Vice President's meeting with Governor John Sununu on July 28, 1988, as well as the standard approved Vice Presidential activity memos for the same meeting.
