The materials in FOIA 2009-0800-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. FOIA 2009-0800-F contains Bush Presidential Records from the White House Office of Records 2009-0800-F 2 Management (WHORM) Subject Files, the Scheduling Office of the First Lady, the White House Office of Management and Administration, the White House Office of Media Affairs, and the National Security Council (NSC). These files consist of booklets from past Hofstra University Presidential Conferences; NSC profile sheets used to briefly describe the content of attached materials and provide handling instructions; letters received by Bush administration staff from President Reagan or his staff and letters sent by Bush administration staff to him or his staff regarding the transition of administrations in 1989; memoranda between members of the Bush administration staff discussing cooperation with President Reagan's stated desire to accelerate the declassification of documents on U.S.-U.S.S.R relations from his administration; notes recommending substantive changes to letters ultimately sent to President Reagan; and routing slips tracking the routine passing of documents through the hands of administration staff. Records released from the National Security Council files within this request primarily consist of profile and cover sheets, which usually describe the process of drafting foreign policy update letters to President Reagan as well as the other former Presidents during the Bush Administration that have been closed for National Security classification or other FOIA exemptions. Materials closed for National Security may be requested for Mandatory Review every two years. The Quayle Vice Presidential files consist of a single memo from Cecile Kremer to Bill Kristol (the Vice President's Chief of Staff) and others regarding appointment details for a meeting between Vice President Quayle and President Reagan at his office in Century City, California on April 24, 1989.
