The Staff and Office Files contain cover sheets, correspondence, legislation, notes, printed material, reports and speeches. Cover sheets and internal memoranda route other documents. Correspondence from President Bush addresses the drug control strategy. Internal White House memoranda arrange meetings and discuss topics related to drug prevention. Legislation and bills relate to the national drug policy and drug prevention. Also included are handwritten notes from meetings of the Domestic Policy Council (DPC) on the drug control strategy. Printed material includes promotion materials for the D.A.R.E. program and newspaper clippings. Reports from the DPC provide recommendations on issues such as criminal justice, treatment, education, interdiction, research, information management, and the establishment of a narcotics smuggling and money laundering task force.
