The materials in FOIA 2013-0068-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. FOIA 2013-0068-F contains materials from agencies and individuals pertaining to U.S. banks/ financial institutions and their officers. The White House Office of Records Management (WHORM) Alphabetical Files contain correspondence from citizens requesting assistance in settling billing disputes with various financial institutions as well as that from bank representatives requesting meetings with President Reagan and voicing support for Administration policies. Also included are materials related to First Lady Barbara Bush's fundraising for the White House Endowment Fund. The WHORM Subject File categories contain inquiries and complaints related to proposed Export-Import Bank loan guarantees to China, a report from the Chase Manhattan Banks delegation to Africa in 1982, recommendations regarding candidates under consideration for positions with the Securities and Exchange Commission, invitations/ speaking requests for Vice President/ President Bush to various meetings, parties, seminars, etc., support for Reagan and Bush administrations' banking policies, and requests for meetings between banking representatives and President Bush.
