The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library is especially grateful to Lex Frieden, disability rights advocate, for the donation of his entire personal collection. A well-known champion of the ADA, Lex Frieden worked tirelessly with President Bush to ensure the passage of this monumental piece of legislation. His donation not only helped make this exhibit possible, but also greatly increased the holdings of the National Archives and Records Administration on this topic. Donations like this provide scholars, researchers, and historians with a vast amount of information to help tell the stories that shape America.
